Description
Guacamole, adapted from the official Chipotle guac recipe.
Makes 4-6 servings.
Ingredients
- 4 large ripe Hass avocados
- ½ cup red onion (minced)
- 2 Tbsp cilantro (minced)
- 1 Tbsp jalapeño (minced, without seeds)
- 4 tsp freshly squeezed lime juice
- ½ tsp salt, extra to taste
Directions
- In a medium bowl, mash the avocados (4) with a fork, leaving the avocado still a bit chunky.
- Add the salt (½ tsp) and fold in.
- Mix in the minced red onion (¼ cup), cilantro (2 Tbsp), jalapeño (1 Tbsp), and lime juice (4 tsp) until incorporated.
- Add extra salt and lime juice to taste.
